Warden message: Teacher Protests

This Warden Message alerts U.S. citizens that due to safety and traffic concerns associated with the ongoing Gabonese teachers’ strike, Embassy Libreville working hours for the week of January 5-9, 2009, are temporarily altered to 0700-1615 hours daily. Embassy employees are authorized only emergency travel between 0700-1100 hours on Monday, January 5. Embassy Libreville advises the American community resident or traveling throughout Gabon discretionary judgment on personal travel during that same time period on Monday, January 5.
