Notarizations

Consular Officers may perform several types of notarial services similar to a notary public in the United States.  Examples include affidavits, powers of attorney, certification of translation, certification of true copy, etc. For certifications of translation, the individual who executed the translation must be present to attest to his/her text. Notarials cost $30 USD for the first service (seal) and $20 USD for each additional service (seal) during a single visit.  Payment is accepted in US dollars or Central African francs (CFA).

These services are provided Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:30-11:30.  An original photo ID is required for a notarial service.
