Gabonese waiting for medical care in Biwenie, near Lambarene.  The US Navy and Gabonese Military Health Service conducted a total of six Medical exercises in and around Lambarene in July 2007.  A total of 5,000 persons were treated, and over 3,500 childhood inoculations were given.

PORT GENTIL, Gabon (Jan. 13, 2008) -  Soccer game with local Gabonese soccer teams in Africa Partnership Station (APS) to enhance partnerships through West and Central Africa.
The sailors of the Ft McHenry visited "Hope House", a small orphanage in Libreville, 8 Jan 2008. During the course of the day, the sailors repaired some dangerous electrical wiring and cleaned up an area for use as a vegetable patch.
