Ambassador Reddick in Woleu Ntem

In January of 2009, Ambassador Eunice Reddick visited the province in the north of Gabon called the Woleu Ntem.

The goal of the visit was to meet with local authorities of the province among which the Mayor, the Governor and Ministers of the region.

A Gabonese associaton by the name Association Gabon USA invited the Ambassador to visit this northern province to meet with young farmers, an association of woment merchants, the association of coffee plants, the prefet and some of the magnificent landscape in that part of Gabon. The president of the association was promoted to Mayor of Bitam one of the most important cities of this province, and he deemed it necessary for the Ambassador to meet with locals of Bitam.

The three day trip was very well organized and the Ambassador exchanged with students, older women and farmers of the Woleu Ntem.
